American Rifles Shipping Yet?

I tried to order a new American Rifle from my LGS last week and was told to wait one more week. They did not have SKU's yet.

Has anyone seen them in the wild yet?

Saw one on the rack in Dallas today. Looked pretty nice. Didn't handle it as I was on a glass quest. jack

They are showing up on GB but only in 30/06. I wanted one chambered in 308Win and figured I might die of old age before Ruger gets the other American offerings out to the shelves, so I ordered a Browning A-bolt in 308.

.30-06 is all that's available right now.
.308s should be a couple more weeks.

308 is what I was looking for, but I am in no hurry. Of course I said that when I ordered a SR1911 five months ago. I have learned that if I ask my LGS ahead of time and order it, that when they get their small allocation of these guns, I get one of the first. I did not learn that lesson until a few months ago.
