PS: According to their FAQ's you have to disable any home security system and lock up your dog if a delivery is scheduled. :shock: Not happening. No way, no how.

Once Amazon pays for my new house with an enclosed second porch
that the delivery person (NOT an Amazon employee) can open the door
to and leave the package ("air-lock" entry).

Minimum house value $500,000, plus the land.

Short of that . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . PASS!

Well Guys,
Looks pretty safe to me. A special lock and a camera aimed at the door.
Now think of it this way. Not the paranoid way as a home owner.
There are a lot of people out there that live in apartments. So Mr. Mrs. Apt dweller might have a small business that requires a lot of Amazon deliveries. Now what do I do leave all my stuff at the front door with a For Steal sign on them. Oh wait I can let a Safe guy put them inside the door with a camera watching. :wink: :wink:
Yea I get a lot of HIGH $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ airplane parts delivered to my front door no problem. Some of the time UPS Guy will put stuff in my hangar WHICH is never locked BUT I don't live in Slumsville USA.

This was first started by Wal Mart. They tested it in California, Palo Alto i think. I read about it a month ago or so. First, no way would I do it. We buy a lot from Amazon, but they are not coming into my house.

However, the people that used the Wal Mart service like it.

By the way, even if you don’t like Amazon, consider this. They stock went up $128 a share today.
