This unusual pistol has showed up on the internet. It looks like a much-improved CIA pistol. More than one review calls it well-made and accurate---much easier to hit with than a derringer. If I saw one in a gun shop for less than the msrp of $129, I'd be tempted. It would be my first 9mm, unless I bought the .380 version.

Not sure about that release trigger. If you stock it in your pocket loaded and it snagged on something going in then released it could be an interesting' event.

You can find a used LCP for not much more than the MSRP and i suggest that would be a better deal and a better choice....YMMV

I don't care, i want one! I don't know exactly why, but i want one!

Seems like the answer to a problem no one has. I’m semi-impressed he can hit the target at 25 yards, but any pistol with a barrel that size could do better I bet. A two shot derringer would be easier to carry & shoot at close range with a 100% better ammo capacity.

That release trigger will cause more problems for users and is in my opinion dumb at best. In this country I see accidental discharges and accidental injuries law suits just waiting to be filed.
With a conventional trigger/trigger guard and safety I can see some wanting it. Me, no way.
Side note: How many noted the lack of safe proper muzzle control even after firing the gun. It does not matter if he was alone on the range or not. Proper muzzle control at all times when handling a gun is gun instructor 101. He failed.

Wow. No way would I buy one. The process of loading seems sketchy. Will it fire without the barrel? The guy says "absolutely not" (yeah, right...) And to depress the trigger slightly to get a loaded round to clear the firing pin? Not the safest gun in the world...

Agree about the Derringer. I have a Bond Arms Derringer. They are pretty safe, the only issue being a stiff trigger.

I already own an LCP. I've looked at several videos, and safety concerns seem overblown. It has a safety that blocks the trigger. Yes, you can get it to fire without the barrel---one idiot does that, with a very long lanyard. You can do stupid stuff with any gun. As for derringers, they're a lot pricier, and notoriously hard to hit with.

Just me, but safety concerns with anyone using any gun cannot be overblown. I have trained, instructed and been a range safety officer for hundreds of professions and several hundred private citizens. I will not gloss over safety concerns regarding firearms. Accidents happen and that gun is a accident just waiting to happen with the average joe. Release triggers have been in use for years competition shotguns, I have never used 1, but it would take more then a little time to get use to it. The guy on the video made the statement, something like "the release trigger will take a little time to get use to it."
If you want one buy one, but give us test results. Fire about hundred rounds to get a good test of it before your mind is made up as to its merits or pit falls.

Was he alone? Someone was filming it.

Which means the gun’s safety mechanism isn’t 100% reliable.

No firearm is idiot-proof.

This might make a good firestarter. Load a primed case with just a little powder, leave the barrel off, stick it into prepared tinder, and fire. Like using the flash from the pan of a flintlock.

The man in the video got it right. This is nothing but a manufactured zip gun! No thanks!

Spend 60 dollars more and get a quality Taurus 738 TCP .380 ACP if you want an inexpensive little firearm. These unlike other Taurus firearms, are made in Florida and have very good quality control. I would not own other types of Taurus that are made in Brazil I think, but these little TCP 380's are great little back up pieces.

They used to come in .32 as well, but that caliber has been discontinued.

I would loved to have seen the gun laid down on a white piece of paper. His fat fingers didn’t help his presentation. Not impressed with the video or the gun.

Yea, it would be nice if you-tubers learned how to instruct and show a product. Watching them open the box and unwrap something is a big waste of my time. If they would only read through the instructions 1st before the camera is running. Have the item on a table showing functions etc before using said item. Speak only facing the camera. With firearms handle them with care and safety and do not laugh when you shoot the gun.
That video reminded me of the years ago nut job trying to teach how to fast draw and shot himself.
