I find the recoil of the many Micro 9's to be very mild shooting. And since I have been a pocket gun enthusiast for so many years, they all seem like 22'cals in recoil. MILD!
That said, in life things can take a turn quick. Especially as the body ages. I was a highly competitive distance runner since high school and into my 50's. Now later in life, I have diabetes 2. My lower leg is going numb, the nerves shot. I have to live with it, so I concentrate on my diet and do a lot of exercises to support the knee.
I realize there is a potential for this disease to progress, possible even to my hands. Not to mention arthritis. I will fight to the end, not give up. So even now I am getting prepared, just in case. The guns I own now have strong recoil springs and racking a slide is easy now, but maybe not down the road. Loading magazines etc.
I love the stubbies and just recently bought a charter arms 32 revolver. Now just saw one in
380.. Ultimate goal is the LCR 32. No racking of the slide, easy to load and shoot. I have always wanted a Snub in 380. and I have a huge supply of that caliber.
If you are going to go down, go down fighting.
This 380. also uses Moon clips which I love. Easy loading, light weight,
Keep it Simple Stupid.
