Here is the before and after of BCG sponsored shooter Brian Abbot's Gun. Brian's house burned down and he brought in the custom we built him in less than perfect shape so I figured it needed a bright paint job so he can find it and not leave it behind in the future!

Well that looks great but how is the steel strength after being in a fire?

Hardness tested just fine....test fired with a proof load...all is well

Very interesting! How many of the original parts are now still in the gun?

I must say that you do some very nice work!

Only things replaced were springs

At least its a 1911 and not some fairy-a$$ed LCWhatever ....

I kinda preferred the way it looked in the first pic ... Rather than the subsequent ones ....
