Any idea who had these made?
Engraving and gold inlay was done by Baron, but that's all I've ever been able to find out. The mirror polishing on the slide is amazing difficult to photograph.
Not everyone's cup of tea, but I sure like it.

Looks like many folks been on your quest for a long time ….. I see threads on the ole innerweb going back to 2013. Lots of questions …. No answers. Maybe somebody at Ruger knows? Send them $10 for a LOA with a cover letter and maybe a picture.

Model number on the box is 06700, just a plain SR1911.
A letter wouldn't tell me anything there. This was done after it left Ruger.

The letter might tell you who it shipped to. You could also ask Baron.

Then bird dog it …. Call who got it ….. follow the leads.
And in your cover letter to Ruger tell them you suspect this was a shipment of 300 etc

Different colored dots were put on the early SR1911's. I have no idea what they meant.

The Night Watchman I just bought had a yellow dot inspection sticker. Came right off.

I think they just put different colored dots on them to mess with collectors!

Found this from 12 years ago:

All they signify is the inspector who performed the final check.
No matter what anyone says; that's it.
There are a lot of jokes going around about those stickers.

Now, that is on straight from the factory. This may be quite different.

I finally heard back from Baron. They did the work on the 2nd Amendment guns for a company called Ellett Brothers. They confirmed that 300 of them were produced, as stated on the slide.
Unfortunately, that company went Bankrupt along side Jerry's Sports, which most of us Ruger guys are familiar with.
