Albuquerque gun shops?

If you find yourself with a few days to kill in that area where/which shops would be on your must-visit-with-cash list?

First stop for lever guns?
Best shop for hunt-worthy revolvers & handguns?
Choices for leather, shooter's odds n ends?

Any & all recommendations for the ABQ-Santa Fe area appreciated. 8)

Ron Peterson Guns on Central is always a good place to look around. Los Ranchos Guns and Charlie’s Sporting Goods are two others. They are great old shops. I’ve bought a number of guns at Ron Petersons over the years.

Not much in Santa Fe. The Santa Fe we have the Santa Fe Outdoorsman in Devargas Mall and The Big R Store on St. Michaels Dr. I shop at Big R. Best prices great service.

I agree with Pistolero, Ron Petersons is probably the best in the Area, located on Central, they are in a different location than they were in the 70's but still a nice shop, with Charlies Sporting goods, on Menaul, next. I haven't been to Los Ranchos Guns. Been years since I've been to Santa Fe Outdoorsmans. They used to be a key place for black powder.

I used to trade at Ron Peterson's when I lived in New Mexico. They used to have a lot of good used but desirable guns, but I haven't been in there in years now.

Over the years I’ve bought a couple of interesting rifles from Peterson’s. A Savage 99 in 25-35 Winchester, and a Mini 14 .222 cal, among them.

I recall buying stuff in Peterson's shop. Great for scrounging as I remember.

Any others you wouldn't pass up? I'm not a full-retail kind of guy.

Update: Petersons is still there, I found the shop very warm on a hot day, so I couldn't stay long enough to examine anything but a 7400/308 with a $695 tag on it. That is too much in my travels.
Some deals on old ammo boxes and a few Rugers. He did have two or three No. 3 guns, and a Standard A54 pistol that had a matte (non-factory?) finish in a six-digit s/n gun. More than thirty old Colt S/A guns, but I don't see any rhyme or reason to pricing for those.

Racks of used shotguns, used rifles with prices higher than I am used to. Handguns were varied, the usual stuff, full retail prices. Nice guys behind the counter, experienced and cordial. I got out for under a hundred bucks with a few hard-to-find magazines, obsolete factory ammo & an old, perfect Remington Bullet knife. Had two ivory-colored grip sets in hand, but they couldn't be identified.

I'd go back there & recommend a visit on a day that doesn't require A/C to survive.

On Charlies Outdoorsmans: Don't bother, they are moving but their pricing is drug-induced.

Outdoorsman's in Santa Fe: actually found the staff pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful, despite many online reviews. Pricing was high all-over. 1894 flat band in 25-35 ($1300) but the bore & chamber were full of mud n crud.
