Good Evening Gentlemen,
I haven't been active on the forum in quite some time, but I assure you that my addiction to Rugers hasn't subsided in the least!
As the title states, I ordered an Alaskan in .44 Mag (to compliment my 9.5" SRH and 96/44) yesterday and naturally I'm looking for some way to tote it around when I'm not fondling it (get your mind out of the gutter, I'm still referring to the Alaskan!).
I've seen several recommendations for the Simply Rugged holsters and they seem pretty nice (as the name suggest.... simple and rugged). I also noticed the Triple K holster on Shopruger.com that looks decent for the money.
I'll primarily be carrying it on the deer lease, on the range and when I'm working in the woods. It won't be used much, if any, for concealed carry.
If you've had any experience with the Alaskan holsters (or just want to imply that you do since this is the internet!) I'd be happy to hear your comments and suggestions.
Thank you!
