Just the right amount of instruments..... I knew a gal who had a old plane with the gas tank in front of her windshield. It had a metal rod with a float on the end of it in the tank. The rod was "color coded" to indicate her fuel "reserve"... She was quite the woman.

Not much need for a 'bush plane' in the mid-west but my old farm pickup has a rifle on the dash/behind the seat/across the seat 24/7

You'll have a little trouble finding the Glock 32 in my work van but a bit more locating the short barrel carbine in the same caliber.... best to keep things hidden around here until needed .... it ain't Alaska.... like I've said, "weather is terrible, traffic and crime is awful and the women are ugly and mean... pass the word, do not even think about moving to Greenville S.C. Oh, and the Taxes are way high.

Are you sure you aren't talking about Alaska??... Talkeetna at least??.......

I made two scabbards for a local, so he could strap his rifles to the struts on his supercub....needless to say they had very heavy duty straps.... Wish I had taken pics of them... I just didn't think of it at the time...
