Had some of the No. 1s out the other day, and decided to take a picture of the ones with aftermarket or custom stocks. The top one is still a work in progress.

I wish I knew who did it. It came with lot of No. 1/3 stock pieces (including the LH set on the bottom rifle) I picked up at one of the shops I frequent. It is very well done. Send me your email, and I'll get you a couple more pictures.

Some nice stuff there. I am also intrigued by the No. 3 forend and nose cap. Also, does the butt stock on the No. 3 monte carlo style, or a classic type stock? I am considering doing something similar with a No. 3 45-70 - I have a nice piece of walnut for the butt stock but I'm thinking I would prefer a more classic type stock on it - and the RSI type forend would be classy!

Thanks - that is pretty close to the rifle I had envisioned. Thanks for posting this - it's gotten me back to thinking on that No. 3 project rifle of mine.

Nice. Years ago I was at a gunshow and saw a full length, as like an International stock done in Zebrawood on a .375H&H tropical. I wish I had had the money at the time.
