Hi, all –

A question for the 10/22 mavens in the crowd: I'm getting ready to customize a new 10/22 for accuracy purposes. I'm putting a new trigger assembly and barrel in it, and am contemplating replacing the stock.

Who are some of the manufacturers of really high-quality 10/22 stocks? This will be strictly for bench purposes, so weight isn't much of an issue. I may not be able to use a thumbhole stock (might not be legal in my lovely state), but an Anschutz style is OK.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for the links. I was hoping, though, that someone could give me some first-hand impressions. Any of these that you especially like?

I have Boyd's and Revolution. Kinda the same designs with a slight difference in finish and the grip contour. I prefer the softer finish of the Revolution. No exp with the Predaor stuff but if a past stock actually does become available as possible this fall/winter, I'll have one of those also. Wenig makes some nice looking stuff but no first hand exp with them.
Fit has been pretty good on all I've used thus far. A bit of snading is always a possibility though.

Having built up a bunch so far (10) and more pending, I'll give my 2¢ if needed. What trigger assembly and barrel you going with?

I'm on the other side of the world (S.C.) but I think you need to look closely at the CA laws.... and this could be to your advantage... if I recall most of the silly 'assault rifle' restrictions are for center fire rifles not 22s.
