UPDATE: No longer an active scene. Suspect (no age,sex,color mentioned) is in critical condition in local hospital. Sheriff says " multiple wounded, multiple dead."

Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler confirmed the lone shooter is in custody and is in critical condition at a local hospital. Gahler said the suspect used an handgun in the shooting. He confirmed than multiple people were dead and injured.

Gahler also thanked the local and federal agencies that responded.

“You can’t have enough police; you can’t have them fast enough,” he said.

It took police only five minutes to respond to the scene and he credited their training.

WTH. They got all those fantastic anti-gun laws that are guaranteed to "save at least one life", right? :roll:
 
Hi...
Local news says the shooter was a woman.
She is in critical condition at the hospital.
No police officers fired their weapons, so she may have shot herself.
 
No gender has been said by any local news (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX), the Hopkins Bayview hospital, OR the Sheriff. There is to a briefing in about 50 minutes by the Sheriff. (2:10 pm now). All that has been said is it was a lone person with a handgun and is in critical condition.
 
3:00pm briefing. Sheriff said 7 shot. Four are killed. Suspect 26, female, temp employee, died self inflicted wound. He also said there is a lot of "unofficial" information out but the Sheriff's office will give out any official information. 9mm Glock, owned by the shooter.
 
No comment, other than letting the anti-gun commenters know that the shooting happened in a state where firearms are truly over regulated.

I´ll look into this when more information comes out.

It was a black woman who then shot herself in the head Twice with a 9mm Glock before she died a short time later. Yea, I know,..explain that one to me.
We will not be hearing much if anymore on this story. Doesn't fit their agenda.

I'm sure they'll blame it on Virginia. Just like Chicago blames Indiana for all their problems.

It's a black guy "identifying as a woman" . . . so perhaps that explains HIS mental instability. I lost the link to this revelation, but check out the pics here. There were several "news stories" confirming this, but they all seem to have disappeared . . .

Actually she was a woman that had an 'identity' problem according to reports from the family.
