Ruger AR556. Having today off we did make the rounds and decided while the price is quite low it was time to get another AR, one for each of us, this one is mine and I do prefer the smaller forearm on the Ruger as fitting my grip better than the Colt we already had. Kenneth also ordered another group of magazines online 20 count of 20 round magazines. We prefer the 20 round magazines for balance, handling and feel, they insert and eject better and the fact that you don't have that longer magazine that you have to maneuver around anything when handling and those are ones that are not normally much carried in this area so we have a new rifle and are magazined up! While online he also made a generous donation to the NRA, so although a week late on that we did three things today that the anti gun crowd would not be pleased with:

New rifle...Check!
More high capacity magazines...Check!
Donation to the NRA...Check!

Now build yourself an additional upper in 6.5 Grendel, 300 Blackout, 7.62x39 or maybe the .375 Socom

I just built a 18" heavy barrel upper in 6.5 Grendel for mine, it shoots really good and gives a long range option for a regular AR chassis. I am going to get another barrel and bolt carrier for 7.62 x 39 just to have. Then I will have .22LR, 223/556, 6.5 Grendel and 7.62 x 39 ammo shooters all without having to do another 4473 and NICS check.
A friend of mine has been playing with his .375 Socom he built just for big pigs in Texas. It is one really hard hitting round for an AR.
