I got a new Charger today and it is a fun and accurate gun. I put an inexpensive halo sight on it and sighted it in at 25 yds. I was getting 1 inch groups using CCI Blazer ammo. I then set up clays at 100 yds. and had a go at them. Hard to see a red halo on an orange clay but the charger was able to bust them up and then pick off the pieces. Very pleased with this pistol. I put about 300 rounds though it without a single FTF or FTE.

My Charger is the most accurate stock 10/22 I have owned. I now have a Volquartsen hammer and Blackhawk Axiom stock on it. I switch back and forth from a Red Dot sight, 2x6 handgun scope, and a 4x rifle scope on it. It will shoot CCI Stingers in .5 inch at 50 yards.

*edited to delete the pictures so there wasn't a double post of them and to give the OP the pics on his own post.* :)

Thanks Blkhawk, I'll figure out how to post pics eventually, Just will have to get new guns to photo until I get it right :D

Sorry, Rumrunner, I don't know all the rules yet. I guess I have to go out and get more rugers. Unless I can put up photos of other makes. But I like the idea of getting more Rugers ( there is a very nice Mkll at a local gun shop)

In reference to the halo sight and the red dot on them....

I've never seen anyone else mention this... but it seems everyone wants to adjust the point of impact behind the dot.

It seems practical to me to put the point of impact just above the dot, like with Iron sights.

Anybody, feel free to tell me I'm wrong on this... I spent 40 years of shooting thinking the point of impact was behind the front sight... no body told me it was supposed to be on top or I missed it when my father gave me my last shooting lesson at age 8.

The Halo sight has 4 different reticles, to choose from, and I zero in with the dot on point of impact. Just like cross hairs on a scope. My other red dot sights have only the red dot and they are sighted in the same way. Just as some people sight their iron sights covering or posting with the front sight, I would guess it would be you preference. With the dots It is much easier foy my old eyes to focus on the target, it also depends on what distance you are sighted in for and what distance your target is. A little " Kentucky Windage" is usually needed for distances other than what it is zeroed in for. Just my 2cents.
