Added this to the shelf this morning. It's my first Mark III, but I like the light weight and replaceable grips... and it looks a whole lot better than their first LITE model.

Way better than the green/gold/yellow one and replaceable panels to boot.

Not sure why I would want one over my 22/45RP but cool just the same.

Thanks for the nice comments folks.

I didn't have time this morning, but it will get a try out this weekend, and then a new hammer bushing shortly after that (I detest magazine safeties on a field/plinking gun).

Replaced the mag safety with a new bushing this morning, came apart pretty easy, and went back together even easier (no mag required)!

So much better without the silly mag safety, oh and it shoots very good as well!

Wonder if the SR1911 grips will fit?

Yes, but the bottom rear corner sticks out a bit... unless you bump them against a belt sander.

Sell the bushing on eBay and fix all the other issues by getting a Volquartsen full accurizing kit for a MKII along with a MKII hammer bushing. The trigger will then work properly.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, as the replacement bushing took care of the only issue I had, so I don't need all the other parts Scott V. makes for these. My trigger works just fine.

Hump! I don't even want to hear about it.

You're lucky or fortunate. People think 10/22's have bad triggers. My 22/45 was like a toy. Best $90 I ever spent on a gun was the MKII Volq kit and bushing for the MKIII.
