A little help if you have the online time...

I am sitting here before I go slave away today at the salt mine...I'm trying to build my youtube channel.
I think I may be getting skewed results when I do random searches for my video's..... I think google is recognising my computer maybe??
I really want my video's to rank high, but with such a small following, I have to continually tweak my titles and descriptions for best SEO, (search engine optimization)....
The reason this is so important is because I need more income and I feel this is by best opportunity..
So..... if any of you have time could you do some searches when you are on youtube??
Searches for things like this...
Homesteading in alaska, (or similar)
Alaska homesteading
homesteading off grid.. anything that ould deal with living in rural alaska...
And things like this.. As for my product reviews maybe search for...
sawyer squeeze mini.....(water purifier)
vanguard B62..... (shooting bipod)
morakniv bushcraft orange... (knife)

If you could let me know if any of my, (TKA-MTNMAN) video's show up on the first page it would mean a lot to me...

I am joining several affiliate programs which will let me earn commissions for the sale of items I promote...
I'm hoping to be teaming up with, Buck Knives, Brownells, and other outdoor/hunting companies..
Anyhow... if it is no trouble.... and please post what out find?? The input would help out a lot!!

I did a search for homesteading in Alaska on you came up on the second page with a tour of your yard. A search within YouTube and you were nine videos down making a winter freight run

Thanks coach!! I think even when I am signed out of youtube, there are cookies that are recognising my computer. Although the "winter freight run", results seem correct.... I think I was ranking higher a while back... I need to go in and change some titles again, and see what happens....
This youtube thing is harder than it looks!!

Found "Homesteading in Alaska", "a walk through my yard", "working in Alaska", "how to manage you money". Just scrolled down the page and found them. These were just a Google search for "Homesteading in Alaska". Clicked on each one so you got 'hits'.

I checked. Honestly it’s hard to find you even when I’m looking for you. Then when I do find your video it seems you tube wants to lure me away. The “up next” video should be one of yours and it’s not. I can see how frustrating it must be.

I did subscribe and like every video. I hope that helps.

thanks for all the assistance. Getting, "found", on youtube can be a challenge. I spend a lot of my online time watching video's on how to get seen...
It is almost a job in itself!!....
When you have a video and there are 100 similar video's, one can get lost... And I want to rank on the first page, and preferably number one!!.... :lol:
I have 2 more coming... one on chainsaws, and a video on my tool rehab....
Then hopefully a fishing trip...

Yup.... look for "tka_mtnman"....
and you will see my pic... it is this one....... But in a circle....

And of course once you see my ugly mug you won't forget that!!.... :shock: Not even with a bottle of hooch down your gullet!!
This has been a very learning and frustrating experience tho... I make enough money every month to buy a REALLY decent cup of coffee..... :lol:
But it is a start.... Soon I will be adding an actual web page.and upgrading my blog, as well as adding several new companies to promote... You may have heard of some of them.... "Buck Knives", for example, as well as " Brownells".... And a few others...
Meaning anyone who buys off of my youtube, blog, or website, I will earn a commission.... Hopefully I will get to earn a bit of money, using the things I actually use!!.... Cool or what!!
Plus, my regular video's which just are about my life and how I get by....

Just was watching the freight run and wondered if there is some reason why your headlight is adjusted to shine into the trees rather than on the trail?

Well... I have never adjusted the headlight.. It is as it came from the factory,as far as I know.. I can however tell you that it lights the trail just fine.. :wink:
The bumpiness of the trail might have made it look that way.. I'll have to take a peek later after work... There aint nuthin level out there...... :lol:

I've been giving it a shot. Searching different things about life off the grid in Alaska etc. Lots of videos by someone called "Tiny Home Tours."

Other videos with the thumbnail of women in skimpy shirts.

Question: Does a different user name make it easier to locate your videos? I wonder if people would remember "tka_mtnman." But I have almost zero experience with YouTube, so this is just a wild guess.

I just went on You Tube and searched "homesteading in Alaska" .... your videos were #8, 12, 14, 16, 22 and I quit counting there.
