Watched the forecast all week go from rainy to cloudy. Well, they nailed it!

Fog was thick. Visibility was around 30-40' so we focused on a silhouette of a cairn for headings. Wind...yeah lots of it. Checked at next peak's (1 mile) weather observed 49º air temp with 47-55mph winds with 60mph gusts bring wind chills to 39º. Certainly explains our discomfort that last 500'. On the good side, we checked another 4000'er and another of the Terrifying 25.

Looks chilly!
. Wasn't really too bad temperature wise but being well above cloud level humidity was 100% and the winds just made it less than desirable. The boy's hands got cold, mine later so holding onto the rocks to support yourself got difficult. We both ended up with 3 layers at the top. Bright yellow rain coats for keeping the dampness out and for visibility.

Gimme couple weeks for the next hike.
