9 mm sp 101

Went to the Wanemacher gun show in Tulsa. Saw a new sp 101 3 inch with box and moon clips, fella wanted $800.00. I almost pulled the trigger on the deal,as I've never seen one. I offered $675.00, but no deal. It's crazy to ask if the $800 is a little high, because everything is worth what someone will pay for it. But how does that price seem to you.

High.... I think you offered a fair price... but I've seen dealers buy from the value leaders at shows and take the items back to their own tables and put them out with a higher price.

A less rare 2" model just sold on Gunbroker for $825

I'd guess $750 - $775 would have bought it. That's what they've been going for. :shock: Supply and demand.

There's a 3" 9mm SP101 on Gunbroker Currently, The price is up to $550 with 4 bids & the reserve hasn't been met YET!!
I used to have both a 2 1/4" & 3 1/16" 9mm SP101..
They bring around $800 currently!! WOW!!
