8 Shot Blackhawk

So now that there is an 8 shot 327mag Blackhawk has anybody thought about an 8 shot something else?
Maybe a 357mag? Possible?

it would be interesting but I'm not sure there would be enough room in the cylinder for it. I think an eight shot 22 single six would be fun. Steve

There is room, the cylinder diameter is larger than a S&W N-frame, eight shot .357 Magnum.

I spoke to Gallagher about just such a conversion, and he said it is entirely possible.

...And USFA very successfully pulled off a 12/22 - with still 6 flutes. Load two in the gate at a time. Slick. And this is with a SAA sized cylinder (or if like most USFAs, very slightly larger, which might mean right on with the mid-frame Ruger SAs?--but certainly no larger than a standard Blackhawk/Vaquero)
