Does a 77MKII chambered in 350 Rem Mag command a higher retail value then other common chamberings. A friend is looking at one, but we are not sure what the real world value is...... Thanks, Dave :D

Id guess that most who wanted one when they came out already have one and the ones on gb have literally been there for years now. The sellers keep raising the prices and there they sit. Towards the end of the run on these MkII 350's , dealers were blowing out the ss/synthetic model at $399.
That being said , mine is one of my go to rifles. I had two. Sold my blued model because the ss shot better. If you can get into one for under $500 anymore and really want one id go for it.
Keep in mind too , ammo isnt easy to find or cheap when you find it. It really is a reloaders rifle but that is where you can make it shine!

At that price id be on it. They arent making any more. i wasnt trying to say they arent worth it , im saying the $700 or more that ive seen some asking for them on gb arent in my book.
The 350 has just a smidge more case capacity than a whelen but realistically they are the same thing. With my reloads and 200 grain Hornady sp's , im getting 5 shot , 100yd groups of one big ragged hole! I dont load heavier because deer just arent that mean! :o

Get it at that price. I had bought one new wholesale when they 1st came out and with shipping from the wholesaler it was close to $500. If I went and picked it up It would have been cheaper but I wasn't getting much else at the time so the trip (1.0 hr each way). I wound up selling it with some ammo for $550 still unfired a few years later. I do still have a Lee die NIB if you need it. I'll check I may have some brass too. Just for comparison a stainless synthetic Hawkeye wholesales for $565 now.
