77/22 and 10/22 mag question

What is the difference between the 10 round factory mags for the 77/22 and the 10/22. I see them listed separately in the catalogs but they seem to be interchangeable in my 77 and 10 models. The 77/22 does have a flat base and the 10/22 has a very slightly rounded base but is this the only difference? Thanks for any hgelp with this.

Yes that is the only difference.

The 10/22 mag's curve goes a little above and below the flat base of the 77/22 mag, so it will stick out a bit more in the center and also expose the edges of the mag-well at the sides.
If it doesn't bother you, they will function perfectly fine and the manual even states that the mags are interchangeable. It did bother me a bit, so I'm sticking with the flat bottomed mags for the 77/22.
