7" New Vaqueros - slow sellers - rare /uncommon?

I've notice that the 7" New Vaqueros have been dropped from Rugers web site. I would guess that they were slow sellers.
Anyone have a feel for how "rare" they might be? Just don't run into them very often myself.

No idea on the number. I don;t think that I've ever seen one.

But that explains why several dealers (Buds Gun Shop, Impact Guns, etc.) advertise a "sale" price on the 7 inchers.

My one and only Ruger New Vaquero is the CCB 7.5 inch.I have noticed that the majority of Forum members seem to prefer the 4 & 5/8ths length barrel.I would like to have one but I would not trade my long one for it.I would just buy another one.I love My NV 7.5 45 colt.I bought a pair of the smooth rosewood grips from the Ruger website.I think it looks sharp and I love to shoot it.Bought it brand new in 08 paid $525 OTD.Thought I paid a little too much but I am happy with it and I guess that is all that matters.[im

I have a 7-1/2" 44 with a 55 pre-fix # & I really have enjoyed shooting it but then again I like the long barrels....

Historically, the 7-1/2" length has always been a slow seller. The ivory gripped Vaquero models in blue and stainless, .44-40 and .44 Mag. are among the most scarce models.
I don't believe Ruger made too many 7-1/2" New Vaqueros either. And remember...Ruger dropped the CCH finish, but a few all-blue 7-1/2" New Vaqueros were made from cleanup. I believe them to be rare.
