I am really confused: I have read on here that the Mini30 has a bore Dia of 308 and then someone eles comes up and says that its 310 so what am I to belive.I have a mini30 and have shoot Wolf ammo and did not like it,and I have a Ruger 7.62x39 bolt gun I got for my wife which we have not had the chance to shhot yet, because I wanted to find out what the bore Dia was first.I plan on reloading my own ammo but not untill I get the right bullet size. Thanks for any and all help.

Slug your bores; that's the only way to tell for sure. Just because the factory says that a bore is XXX diameter, don't make it so. If in doubt, there are a couple of stickies at the Cast Boolits forum, and even Youtube videos on how to slug your bore.

It will depend on when your Mini and your wife's bolt guns were made. Since 1990, Ruger's bore size for the 7.62 is 311, prior to that, it was 308.

Rich, welcome to the forum.

.311 for a 7.62 bore? No wonder my buddy is having fits with his. I always assumed it was the $8.75 barrel than Ruger used.

Note, that same buddy had a lot of heartburn with Wolf ammo even feeding in his Mini. Didn't like those polymer covered cases.

Yes, Welcome, Rich.
I sold my Mini 30 and bought a DPMS LR308 and never looked back.
