IN my travels I like to browse the dusty shelves, as do most of us. I stay away from the big box foreign-owned retailers, and inasmuch as they have clearance shelves, the pricing doesn't do much for my satisfaction.
So while fighting my perscription lenses trying to read tiny faded price tags in a wood-floored gun store in Arizona last week...
My eyes focused on a red box of Hornady 480 W.B. Ruger cartridges, and the tag read "$18.99"! Not bad. When the storekeep pulled the box out, there were six! more behind it! Then the capper: He said "Gimme $120 cash money and you can take 'em all". Oh yeah. :wink:
He also had some old Winchester red/orange-striped boxes of 356 Win for $26 per, and I took four of those. Just for balance, you understand.
