45 lc

Posted awhile back on my 45 New Model lc shooting to the left. Shot it again with 3 different loads still the same . Had a friend who is a machinst measure the throats . Come out at .454 one a little larger . What to do . It shoots all over the target 4"by 12" .

Is the front sight blade "square" with the barrel?

I'd talk to Ruger's service dept. about those throats.

The sight looks good . Called Ruger about the throats going to send me a shipper box . Going to put a note about the problems ,

I'd shoot .454 bullets in it then.... But sounds like Ruger will fix you up due to the oversize throats. Shooting to the left or right is common though. Just adjust the rear sight..... If a New Vaquero then it just needs the barrel turned a bit for that.
