OK, after seeing all the revolver porn here, I feel obligated to share a little myself. Here are my two Ruger Bisleys, both are .45. The 7 1/2" gun is a factory Bisley and is .45 LC only. The 4 5/8" gun started life as a standard Blackhawk, and is a convertible. I bought everything necessary to convert it to a Bisley from Brownell's, except for the grips, which came from Midway. It was a real challenge doing the Bisley conversion, but I think it turned out really well! It looks and shoots great. The grip frame is SS, and I went with a SS hammer to contrast with the cylinder frame, and a blued trigger to contrast with the SS grip frame.

I also just got a Marlin 1894 in .45 LC to partner with them, here it is with the 7 1/2" Bisley:

Ruger Bisley 45 colt Turnbull CC Billboard Removed Charcoal Blue.

Winchester Trapper 45 colt Case color saddle ring carbine.

My 7.5" Bisley is a .41 Magnum and I have a Marlin(1st issue) and Henry levergun to go with it. If I can find room for a second holster, I have a 6.5" Flat Top .41 for it. Bob :D :D :D :D

Well here is my one and only in .45 Colt / .45 ACP and a nice shooter!

Very nice Ruger Bisleys and Marlin!

Thank you Pistolero!

Powder Smoke, when I first saw your Bisley, I thought "that looks just like mine!" Then I took a closer look and noticed the case colors you mentioned. Very Nice upgrade!

Mus408, that's a very nice looking convertible you've got there. Thanks for sharing!

Anyone one else with a .45 Bisley to share pics of, with or without a sister rifle? We likes! :D

the 4 5/8" barreled gun in my avatar is a 41 mag Blackhawk pawnshop rescue converted to Bisley grip and hammer. The other is a factory 45 Colt 7 1/2" with a polished grip frame

Anyone one else with a .45 Bisley to share pics of.......

Mine is set up for hunting. Used to have a 7-1/2" barrel but that was a bit much so I chopped it to 6"

My .45 Bisley started life with a 7 1/2" barrel. Good shooter but a bit awkward to pack around. Sent it off to Dave Clements to have him shorten the barrel to 5 1/2" and give the gun a good overhaul. I won't waste time talking 'bout him doing a great job - never heard anyone ever complain about his work. Gun shoots great and is much handier to pack around. While he had it, he sent the grip frame to SK Custom Grips and had them fit a set of beautiful burl mesquite grips - its definitely a keeper.
