Does anyone have any feedback on the Herters .45 ACP ammo that is made in Russia? They have coated steel cases. The price is RIGHT as they go for abut $0.39 per shot as opposed to $0.50 for brass cases.

I would think that if you wanted to spend that much on the trash ammo, then I would spend a little more for the reloadable brass. If you don't reload, then you can sell the brass and get a little money back.

Wolf ammo would have to be pretty darn cheap, compared to U.S. ammo, before I'd even consider it. Steel cases will prematurely wear out your chamber & the sticky lacquer on them melts off inside the chamber too. Not something I'd want to be shooting in any of my guns no matter what the price is.

Not to mention that the steel cases aren't particularly kind to your extractor and ejector.
I'd invest in reloading before I started shooting Wolf.
