.45-70 Lever Gun Available, Locally

I get a periodic update of the offerings from one of my local FFL's. I was somewhat surprised to read they have the Marlin lever guns in stock.

I was less surprised, to click on the ad and they're already out of stock.
Point is, they're apparently in circulation, at least a little.

These have been really climbing in price, Cabelas (if you can believe it) had some of the trappers a few months back for about $1200 + tax
