OK, I am confused. Over on the classified section is a discussion about a rare .41 mag Blackhawk. http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=101818
In the last post it indicates that a Blackhawk with catalog BN-414L is rare and one of only 125 made. Further it is stated that this variation started with SN 48-000XX.
My New Model Blackhawk is listed as BN-41L and has a serial # 48-3818x. Is mine one of the rare ones or just a run of the mill 4.75" New Model Blackhawk .41 Mag? I am planning on sending my cylinder off to have the throat reamed and do not want to make irrepairable changes to it if it is rare.
