I think I bought this revolver here. It was in the Classifieds and people started talking about how that model and cartridge were rare and desirable. Since I like .41 Magnums, I bought it.

It was unfired in the box then… and it still is. Just never got around to shooting it.

Now that I’m 63 and moving from a 90 acre farm to the city… I’m selling guns I rarely or never shoot. Unless they mean something to me. There is a lot. When you can walk 50 yards from your backdoor and shoot whatever you want… guns seem to accumulate!

Anyway, I was thinking about selling that Bisley .41. I can get the number off the box if necessary but I assume people know what I’m talking about. I don’t remember what I paid… my Excel spreadsheet lists what I consider replacement value. I put $1200 some time in the past. I have no idea where I got that number.

Anyway… somebody just give me a ballpark guess on value if I decide to list it?

Those pictures were on my hard drive... I think they were from when I bought the gun. I didn't take them. The gun should look the same though since I never fired it and it has lived in my safe! Just wondering about basic value.

There has been a couple of desirable models (41 caliber) that have recently come out. The 5.5" Medium frame flattop,,, and have recently seen a run of the "AccuSport" 5,5" stainless Blackhawk Bisley.
I realize "AccuSport" is long gone, but they were the first.

The 41 has a cult following and your gun being early flutted cylinder, LNIB w/shipper. From the mid 1980's when WBR was running the show and quality was important,,, makes for a unique desirable gun.

$1,200 might be all the money here on the forum.
GB; it most likely will go higher depending on high quality pictures & detailed description.

Similar gun category; Buckeye Convertible's sell in the 1,000- 1,200 range in SIMILAR Condition.
Pair then up and one can add ~$150 +/- to the pair.
A lot of similarities, not so main stream caliber, limited qty., 1980's mfg.
 
Have a S/W model 57 no dash { 8 3/8 in. barrel } with box, paperwork, wax paper , etc. I bought years ago in pristine condition....almost too nice to shoot, lol !
Looking for a nice Ruger Bisley in .41 mag with box, etc. , preferably in very good + condition.
 
I love my .41 Hunter as well. Not selling that one. I had a 5.5" Redhawk in .41 but an Army buddy talked me into selling it to him. I miss the gun but he's a good guy.

I have an early blue S&W M57. And an S prefix very early M58. And a nickel M57 that is one of the prettiest guns I own. A NM Blackhawk in .41 with 6.5" barrel. An OM .41 Blackhawk with the 4 5/8ths.

I think that's all the .41's but I could be wrong!

I'm trading the Bisley .41 to Robb for that custom 50th .357.
