41 caliber NMBH's serial pre-fix

I note a 41 caliber NMBH for sale with a 48 prefix. Looks to be an ordinary NMBH. I have one with a 41 prefix, a FT with a 87 prefix and a Bisley frame with a 47 prefix. What gives?

Can only have son many with a certain prefix before you kinda run out of numbers. Just indicates a different prefix along the lineage of the model, nothing more.

There was plenty of 41 prefix numbers left, I still don't understand why Ruger decided to combine the 45c and 41m blackhawks with the same numbering system.
