357 Max

Got one on the way. Had a DW 357 Max back in the 80's but sold it. Don't recall if I had a separate set of dies for it or just adjusted 357 Mag dies. Seems the latter idea should work?

Hornady, Lee, Lyman and RCBS seem to think so.

I use my .38/.357mag dies to load mine.

As noted,,, standard 357 mag dies can be used,,, you just have to adjust the die to the length of the Maxi.

my RCBS .357 dies are dated well before the Max was about and the decapper was part of the expander stem. A call to RCBS got me a decapper stem for the sizer die...The original decapper is not long enough for use in the Max...

Thanks all, that's what I figured. It's a 10.5 incher and should be here next week. Looks so good I am not sure I should be shooting it, but I more of a shooter than a collector...
