Hunter
Here is the 357 Maximum I put together. It is quite the mutt, but I like it. I bought the receiver off of Facebook and had H&R fit a barrel. Then I bought a 38/55 target and robbed the stock set off the gun for this project. Then I had rented the reamer and did that part myself. Then I took it to a local shop with instructions to cut the barrel to 16.25”. it came back just a tad longer but still under 16.5”. I can live with it. The crown is almost factory looking. It is a nice looking rifle to me. Just how I like them. If it shoots as good as I think it looks, it will be my main hunter this year. I am hoping to get some temporary backstops built until it gets dry enough for the dozer guy to come out and build me a berm. Once I get that done, I am going to start testing some of the loads I have ready. Gonna run some 158 and 180 XTP’s, as well as some cast boolits through it. Man I cant wait to shoot this thing!!
