I did my best to channel my inner Elmer Keith this weekend.

Video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4eg8mnhjkM

We didn't start out on the 400 yard dinger but it did attract the most lead. At 125 yards the little Ruger owned the 12 x 12 plate and all the plates in between.

I sure am liking this little revolver. Thanks again to Ruger1Nut for pointing me in the right direction and Contender85 for parting with it.

SteelShooter:
The load is the RCBS 32-98-SWC over a max charge of Unique. WSP, Starline Brass, OAL 1.400, LFC. Averages 1180 fps out of the little Ruger.

JustsayMo,

Thanks, picked up one of the 32 Singel Sixes, and had ordered loading components, except powder, was hoping to get a good starting point, and now looks like I've got one.

Only interested in cast bullets, so you answer was perfect!

A little OT as I am wont to do occasionally (!) but there's a piece in last month's ST by Bart Skelton on a little beauty of a Bearcat built by Alan Horton in .327 Fed...

I just love a custom built on BC or S6 platforms... 8)

Thanks for posting JustsayMo...

I load my .32's with 118 gr. "LBT style" bullets, WW-296, small rifle caps and a firm crimp. They shoot amazingly well!
