.30 Carbine: small pistol primer for pistol loads?

With the status of small rifle primers, I was wondering if anyone has used small pistol primers when loading softer rounds for the Blackhawk.
While I use 1600 to 1900fps loads in my carbine, I load most of what I shoot in the Blackhawk at around 1100fps. What's your thoughts on using small pistol primers for such loads?

My only concern would be that the 30 Carbine being a high pressure round, may produce pressures too high for pistol primers. Try it, I don't think there would be a Kaboom, just pierced primers at worse...
