So the other day, stopped in at a little back-woods gun/pawn shop, found this forlorn looking fella for what I negotiated down to $20. Kinda perfect for that old Blackhawk when I pick it up out of layaway mid Jan, IF I can clean it's jacked up finish up some, I do NOT know what happened to, or got ON this holster, but I know it needs something to look better. Are there any leather folks (the craft, not uh... "into") here that could offer up any suggestions? I mean an ugly holster will work too, but...
The three pics on the right are after two cleanings and rinse/dry periods, and three applications of Leather N Rich conditioner, and about an hour or so of horsehair brushing/buffing.
Done? Well, no, but it's coming along. Will it ever be as good as "new". Not likely, but that;s fine, it's ..."presentable" now.
