3" Paclite Barrel Experience?

If anyone has had any experience with this no longer made item I would like to hear about it both suppressed and without.

These were dropped years ago,supposedly because theywern't reliable with all ammo.Not enough backpressure to blow the bolt back.Should be ok with a supressor.Note that Ruger has never made a barrel shorter than 4 inches for the Mk 1,2 and 3.

It would be interesting to try a 22 short conversion bolt with its lightened weight in the short barrel upper with 22lr ammo.

I have one (Black, bull barrel, fluted) that I have shot several hundred rounds through. Mostly Federal Bulk in the blue box. I know that Tac. Sol. recommends, Mini-mags or Stingers but I have shot a variety of brands and do not recall any issues with it. In fact it's fun to shoot and the accuracy it excellent. I also have one of the taper barrels in Blue, I believe a four inch length.
