#3 in 375 Win production numbers

The number, or even the approximate number, is not anything anyone would know, as the Company does not give out that kind of info.
But since you just asked for a " Ballpark Guess" , my estimate is 2000.

I assumed these numbers were available to some extent as I've seen the #3 in 44 Mag #'s listed @ <200 numerous times on this board and elsewhere...
I'd seen that the 375 Win had low production numbers and was curious as to the actual numbers...

Haven't a clue about production figures, just know that I got mine. Mounted a Leupold M8 four power on it worked up a load with the 220 gr hornady, and whacked this buck last year. Will probably take it out again this year. Sure does carry nice in the woods.

The .375 was offered for a few years in the #3 but nobody really seemed to care about it too much. When the .44 was listed in the #3 though and discontinued shortly thereafter everybody took notice (just a much more popular round) so I suppose somebody at the time was able to get a much better idea of production on the .44.

Ruger does not/will not release production figures. Call and ask then ;-0
You'll get a nice respnse that basically boils down to, "We do not release production figures. These are considered propritary information".
Most of the time when we talk numbers its either years later after somebady that has a friend at the factory hears something. Alternatively it is a short run and like the Lipsey guns we know it takes 250 to get the rifle made.
After that it's a rough guess based on the time the gun was produced and the number a guy tends to see over time.
I've been told that barrels were/are made in batches of 100. When we end up with an uncatalogged short run with 85 rifles that essentually meens one batch of barrels less whatever did not pass Qaultiy Control/Inspection.
How many #1s in 22PPC or 6mm PPC? "V"s in 243, 280, 7mm Mag or 300 Win Mag? Anything anybody says is an educated guess. unless the speak has a inside friend at Ruger.

The 375 Win wasn't an overly popular caliber, though I don't know why, not bad to shoot and a really handy package in a No. 3 -- we had a hard time selling the .375's -- people mostly seemed to want the .22 Hornets, .223's and the 45-70's.....but mostly they just wanted No. 1's if they were in the market for a single shot rifle.
Pretty much had to give the No. 3's away at our cost to sell them.
I owned a 375 Win and it was a very accurate rifle.

I'm looking to possibly trying to build a #3 set... I figure the .44 is the tough one followed by the .375... I think after those two the other four should be "easy"... (The money being the real problem!)

i had been looking for the 44 for several years and this is the third one ive seen posted. i got the first one that was offered last month :)

Then if you really want to get crazy, Ruger also used a #3 action in a shoulder fired miltary training device called a "VIPER" which chambered a .30 Carbine round.
