Just picked up another 250 Sav Ruger 77 ser # 70-9945x in a pawn shop today. Just stopped in on a whim and looked up in the rack and spotted the 250 with the flatbolt. I couldn't resist at 425.00 out the door. It is a very clean rifle with pretty wood. Upon taking it out of the wood I noticed the trigger guard was broke off where the mag latches. I dropped Ruger a note and I hope they can send me one or sell one to me. One thing I did notice was when trying to load some rounds that I shoot in my round bolt 250 they were too long. Seems the box is shorter on the flatbolt? I am sure the PawnShop did not know about the broke trigger guard. I superglued it back on but it is no a permanent fix.
