.22 Combos

Thought I would post a couple pictures of my 10/22s and MK2 pistols. They make a good combo. First, standard barrels:

Then, heavy barrels:

Don't know why I "need" two of each. I just do.

Now, I "need" a .22 lever gun to go with my Flatgate Single Six!!!

How is that new Ruger BX-25 mag for the 10/22?

Do you notice any difference with that 2nd gun and it's heavy barrel?

You've got the two types of 10/22 that I like the best!

I love the new 25 round Ruger mags. They work great (in both guns). The heavy barrel is more accurate than the thin barrel IF I use good ammo. With the el-cheapo Wal-Mart Federal 550 there really isn't a huge difference. About all I do with either of them is plink anyway.

BET :!: the heavy barrel can shoot a nickle or dime group if you can hold on a rest are one ragged hole 8) at 25 yds or nickle at 50----.
