22/45 "Great Eight"

Hello, Don't know if this is particularly "rare", but I thought I'd share my Ruger 22/45 "Great Eight". It is an excellent shooter!

Bought mine when it first came out years back Fantastic shooter! The most common of the Great Eight models.

Mine was a favorite of my daughters, several of her college friends fired the first shots of their lives with it. That 22/45 and some cans of skunky beer for targets showed several different college girls how much fun shooting could be.
