will be getting my wife a new 22 45 lite in a few days, she is going to want a dot sight, we shoot 90 % of the time outdoors, so i dont want to start buying a dot sight and be sorry ect, so looking for some opinions of some shooters who shoot during the day outdoors and not having any issues with a dot sight, are reflex types better than the red or green dot tube scopes better ect, trying to keep the sight at $100 a few bucks either way dont matter if the quality is there. we normally shoot 25yds and under

thanks
Chet

Many will poo poo this, so take it with a grain of salt, or whatever.
I have several Center Point red dots and scopes.
They all work perfectly on my Ruger 10/22's and PC9, as well as an AR 15, and a couple of air rifles.
Here's a link to a video that shows the red dot model I have.
The video guy says he paid $50 at WalMart. I paid $30 each at a gun show a year ago, or so.
Good luck with whatever you choose to get.
