The only hint was something about an "SR30"...no idea what that is yet. I was hoping for a 30-30 lever action, but typically when they use the SR prefix, it's a semi-auto of some kind.
and .... not interested in the 'new' offerings

I have often wished Ruger would have purchased Marlin instead of Remington. The Marlin lever line would have been a nice complement to the Ruger single actions. One stop shopping for all your western gun needs. Remington (Freedom Group) is soiling Marlin's name by turning out some real garbage. Sorry for the drift. Yea, a Ruger lever action would be nice, but i doubt it.

Possibly a western style lever action along the Browning lines. Western styling with a modern rotary bolt and box magazine. Made in Ameerica, of Steel, sounds like a winner I would have to own.
As a side note, Brenda purchased a Pre Remington 1894 in .44 Magnum as an anniversary gift. Very Nice little rifle. We each killed a deer with it this year.
