I see the #!B was dropped from production. I was sad to see that happen. I own two #1B's in a 6mm Remington and a 30-06. In my opinion the #1B is the most attractive out of all the variants and I like the way it feels and handles better than any of the others. I was sorry to see it dropped. I understand the enconomics behind such a move, but I sure would have thought the 1B was one of your most popular models of that rifle.

As a side note, my son has a 6mm Remington in a Ruger MKII that he/we absolutely love! I had a lady checker the nutmeg laminate (Boyds) stock we put on it, and it was then glass and pillar bedded. What a great rilfe! I really like what you folks have done with the Ruger Hawkeye and think you nailed the stock dimensions to a T!! :D I would love to see you chamber it in a walnut and laminate model in 280 Remington and 6mm Remington. I sold my Remington Model 700 Mountain Rifle in .280 just because I was falling for the Ruger controlled round feed and awesome scope mountain system, and then right before I got one, you folks stopped chambering for the .280. It's too good to let die guys! Great products you folks make!
