I used to have several different types of Semi-Automatic pistols, but I sold them all eventually, including a pristine 9MM Browning Hi-Power. 1911's are my soul buddies. Here's one of my favorites - a 1962 National Match build off a 1943 Remington Rand frame.

I bought it for the box it was a Wells Fargo strong box.
I was the only one to bid on it and got it for 5 bucks.
Took it home dumped the box out on the garage floor and in the very bottom was a box wrapped in a towel.
Inside the box was a Gold cup that looked like it had never even been fired. It has been fired many many times since then.

Thanks! I got them when I was much younger and had, shall we say, different tastes than now. I was going to put something like cocobolo on there, but these are growing on me.doc540 said:Sam, for reasons unknown to me, those stocks just fit that gun perfectly.
