Were the Blackhawks made in 1976 Bicentennial stamped on the barrels?

"Made in the 200th year of American Liberty" was stamped on top of the barrel.

I'm of the opinion that all Ruger firearms made in 1976 were stamped with the 200 year logo. I can remember a store that had boxes of 77's and #1's so stamped. I was 25 then. :mrgreen: Bob!

In 1976,,,, all models of the Ruger firearm line were given the "Liberty" rollmark. There were a few guns of various models made in 1976 that were not so marked,,, but very few. Depending upon the model, and how many of that configuration was actually made that year,, a FEW of them command higher prices. But in general,, most just command about $50 over regular guns,,, IF,,, NIB.

I think Ruger's statement back than was that all Ruger firearms expected to be shipped during 1976 would have the Liberty rollmark.
That said, some made during the year evidently missed getting the rollmark.

I had to have my mom buy my 1976 41 mag Blackhawk for me since I was only 15 at the time. It, too, has the Liberty stamp.
