I was watching an old (1949) cowboy movie today: The Doolins 0f Oklahoma. Towards the end, the Doolin gang was being slowly shot up and coming to its end when one of the lines spoken struck me as being frighteningly clairvoyant. Lil' Bill (Noah Berry, Jr.) was telling Big Bill (Randolph Scott) that he felt they were 'out of date' and not with the times; that life as they knew it out in the wilderness was coming to an end. He said that he wouldn't be surprised that "someday it will probably be illegal to carry a gun".

Hahahahaha...also, in the Movie "The Wild Bunch"...I think Pike (William Holden) told his buddies - We need to start thinking past our guns!

Somewhat off the topic, But I remember reading that Noah Berry Jr. was not truly a "Junior" as his name was not the same as that of his father. But he adopted the "Jr." to differentiate between he and his father.
