Here's the article that started it all, it was in Novermber 1949. Bill Ruger got very positive feedback from an Major Army General J.S. Hacher that was test firing one of the NON Serial numbered Prototype pistols. Because of this article, The Sturm Ruger Firearms Company took off to the company we now know. Humble beginnings, with help from one of Bill's Army General Friends.
