1943 Sherman M4A1 Tank for sale

I've mentioned this website before, but http://www.bringatrailer.com often has some interesting vehicles for sale. This time it's a 1943 Tank. Perfect to drive in a parade if you've got the cash to spare. There is a video of the owner explaining how it operates.

I was friends of a guy who collected tanks and field pieces. He had a bunch. While firing one of the tanks main guns he and another where killed about 5 years ago. Another person closer than I with him said the breech was not locked or was faulty.

treads are steel it seems and it does not come with rubber blocks for them and so the add says it is for off road only... so, I'll have to pass on it since I live in town.

Reminds me of 1995 when someone stole a tank in San Diego. He had a police escort and didn't have to worry about things like traffic, street lights, curbs, etc. On a side note the only casualty was the guy who stole the tank.
