Is anyone a member of this site, 1911forum.com?

I found this forum and tried to create a profile but it keeps giving me the follow loop. This happens even when I try to fill in the 'contact us' form.

Why am I doing this?Unfortunately, some people use automated programs for malicious purposes, so we want to make sure you are a real live person. Programs don't play like people do, so these games stump them. Have fun!

When I click on 'continue' nothing happens and all I get is the following message:

The PlayThru game was not completed. Please try again.

Extremely frustrating, if you are a member of that forum, can you tell them that their site is broken.

I am a member there.

Did you check your email for the registration link.

After clicking that link it will take you back to the forum.

You will then have to log in using your username and password.

ETA: Just saw where you're not making it through the "human verification"

If you can't get past that then I don't know.

It should tell you on the screen what you're supposed to do, though... something along the lines of put the golf ball in the hole. Once you've done that it should work.

BTW... I just completed a sign up using another screen name. It registered fine for me,

If you want, pm me an email address and user name you'd like to use and I can set up an account for you.

I can pm you the random password I use and you can change it after you're logged in on the forum.

I found out that the problem was with my router. It is a Linksys, pre-Cisco router that has been true blue for a long time but is now showing its age and not allowing complete throughput. Off to the store to get another router that probably won't last as long as this one did.

Yup. I had to retire an old Cisco router over a year ago. I even blew the dust off of it, etc. and it had good ventilation, but old in the computer world is different than old in the human or even gun world.
